Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Director of Accounting in Orlando, Florida. The role primarily involves overseeing Shared Services, specifically pertaining to Procure-To-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions in a large-scale setup.

Director of Accounting

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage large team operations effectively
  • Supervise overall Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process to ensure smooth transactions
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including Order to Cash (OTC) procedures
  • Implement Oracle Fusion software to facilitate and streamline accounting operations
  • Ensure Shared Services are functioning optimally and meeting organizational standards
  • Develop strategies for improved efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes
  • Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Resolve any complexities or discrepancies in accounts
  • Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional tasks
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Proficiency in Procure-to-pay and Order to Cash processes
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion software
  • Experience in a Shared Services environment
  • Proven track record in Management Consulting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective strategies and business plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is desirable
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
