Description

The Director of Infrastructure GBS reports to Senior Director, Infrastructure & Information Security GBS and leads a growing area of approximately 80 employees. 6+ leaders will report directly to you. You and your team along with the Global counterparts will establish the right infrastructure foundation to support the Digital & AI Landscape for Novo Nordisk.

To succeed in the role, you must therefore have strong leadership competencies.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary leadership goals are to:

  • Create & support common objectives and visible successes by building on the diverse competencies of the group
  • Continuously develop the area and maintain the sense of community and belonging, which is key for our current and future employees
  • Make sure that we have a culture that enables all employees to succeed, no matter who they are, while staying true to the Novo Nordisk Way
  • Collaborate closely with the other management members across Global Infrastructure organisation
Your primary business goals are to:
  • Contribute to defining and executing the global infrastructure strategy and GBS setup
  • Lead leaders responsible for delivering global infrastructure services and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities
  • Strengthen product ownership and delivery from GBS across critical infrastructure capabilities
  • Ensure a robust and compliant infrastructure operating model with strong governance and service management
  • Drive organisational development, innovation, and change management across the function
  • Serve as an active member of the I&IS GBS management team and contribute to broader business priorities
  • Work closely with local Management and drive necessary initiatives from Infrastructure side

Furthermore, our responsibilities include:

  • Identify the organisation needs and work with management members to prioritise and execute as required
  • Suggest and implement right organisation structure considering the future needs of the organisation
  • Create strong partnership with various business units and thus bringing them closer to Security Organisation
  • Responsible for People and budget management
  • Responsible for Vendor and Stakeholder management at various levels

Qualification & Requirements

Our next joiner should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience in IT
  • 10+ years of experience within IT Infrastructure or a closely related area
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in strategic IT roles
  • Proven experience as a leader of leaders
  • Strong ability to communicate technical matters in a clear and management-friendly way
