Description
We are seeking a Director, GBS Technology and Innovation to define and drive the digital and emerging technology strategy across Global Business Services and Global Corporate Affairs within a complex, decentralized global organization
This role acts as a senior technology partner to GBS and GCA leadership. The Director will shape the long-term technology vision, influence strategic investment decisions, and help transition the organization towards product-centric operating models and modern ways of working.
This is a strategic role rather than a delivery-only position. Success depends on deep understanding of GBS and shared services environments, strong enterprise technology judgement, and the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the technology and innovation strategy for GBS and GCA
- Partner closely with senior GBS and GCA leaders to align technology roadmaps with business outcomes
- Support the shift from project-based delivery to product-centric operating models within GBS
- Translate emerging technologies beyond AI into pragmatic, scalable and governed solutions
- Bring external trends, benchmarks and innovation insights into strategic discussions
- Define and uphold governance frameworks for responsible and compliant technology adoption
- Operate effectively within decentralised, matrixed global environments without direct line authority
Qualification & Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or large-scale digital transformation
- Strong practical understanding of GBS and shared services operating models
- Experience supporting GBS, GCA, or similar enterprise-wide service organisations
- Credibility to influence and challenge senior stakeholders through business partnering
- Ability to balance innovation with enterprise governance and operational realities
- Experience working in complex global organisations; consulting background acceptable with strong enterprise or GBS exposure
