The role is based in Ireland and sits within a high-performing team that partners with major organisations to modernise and optimise their finance functions.

Director Finance Transformation – EPM, ERP, SSC

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements focused on reimagining finance functions, from strategy through to execution.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across industries.
  • Drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and shaping proposals.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex transformation programmes, ensuring quality, timeliness, and value.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as finance operating models, shared services, automation, and analytics.
  • Mentor and develop a team of consultants, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in finance and technology to bring fresh thinking to clients.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting and finance transformation.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, reporting, and enabling technologies e.g. ERP, EPM, Analytics tools (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle), (Oracle EPM Cloud, SAC, Tagetik and more).
  • Proven track record in leading transformation projects from design through to implementation.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, including C-suite, and influencing decision-making.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, or project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • A collaborative leadership style and a passion for developing others.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
