Director – Finance Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management:

• Significant experience in a leadership role within a Finance Shared Services environment.
• Lead and manage the finance shared services team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Financial Operations:

• Oversee all aspects of finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate and be responsible for taxes and local statutory compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.

Procurement and T&E:

• Manage and oversee the procurement process to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Oversee travel and expense (T&E) management, driving compliance with company policies and optimization of expense processes.

Process Optimization:

• Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline finance processes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Performance Management:

• Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the performance of the finance shared services team.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.

Qualification & Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in finance with a significant portion spent in a leadership role within a shared services environment.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale finance teams and managing complex financial operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of global finance operations and regulatory requirements
