Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for top management and the CFO in all financial matters
- Technical and disciplinary management of the global Financial Shared Service Center, the Tax Department and the Group Accounting Department
- Responsibility for the consolidation of financial reports of all subsidiaries and business units, preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Group-wide liquidity management and control
- Working capital optimization and continuous optimization of the financial supply chain
- First point of contact for banks, tax consultants and auditors
- Responsible for the coordination and implementation of external audits (including auditors, tax auditors)
- Management of the tax group and cooperation in the billing of services with the group companies
- Implementation of Group & site guidelines in accordance with IFRS and tax guidelines
- Analysis of business processes and cost efficiency as well as derivation of optimization measures
- Collaboration and management of special projects and tasks
Qualification & Requirements
- Successfully completed business studies (university/technical college) with a focus on controlling/finance/accounting and corresponding further training, ideally training as an accountant
- Several years of experience in commercial management positions in internationally active, manufacturing medium-sized companies or trading companies
- Experience in the private equity environment is an advantage
- Financial statement security according to HGB and IFRS
- Confident use of SAP and MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point)
- Fluent English skills
- Strong communication, teamwork and conflict resolution skills as well as high commitment
- Experience in virtual leadership
