Key Responsibilities

  • Builds strategic client partnerships to drive transformation, growth, and long-term value.
  • Leads complex, multi-regional Operational programs ensuring delivery excellence, risk control, and profitability.
  • Drives continuous improvement and digital innovation to enhance operational capabilities and service offerings.
  • Ensures high-quality delivery with a focus on business outcomes
  • Be a confident, polished and fluent presenter frequently presenting to client management teams, to boards and to large audiences
  • Lead the development and extension of products and services and know how to communicate and market them
  • Develops high-performing teams through strategic hiring, mentoring, and enhancement of capability.

Lead strategic Record-to-Analyze (R2A) transformation, driving operational excellence, digital innovation, and financial insights. Inspire global teams, engage senior stakeholders, and deliver high-impact outcomes across reporting, compliance, and analytics functions. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Drive the strategic roadmap for the Record-to-Analyze (R2A) function, aligning with enterprise-wide goals and digital finance transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as a thought leader in Financial Reporting, Controllership, and Analytics, delivering impactful R2A solutions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to unlock business value, enhance financial transparency, and foster innovation.

End-to-End R2A Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee global R2A operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial close, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Align R2A delivery with business objectives, regulatory standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Drive improvements in key metrics such as reporting cycle time, data accuracy, and audit readiness through operational excellence and governance.

Transformation Leadership

  • Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives across general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets, and reporting processes using ERP and analytics platforms.
  • Develop and implement scalable methodologies tailored to evolving business and regulatory needs.
  • Apply change management and transformation frameworks to modernize R2A processes and enhance delivery models.

Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue finance transformation opportunities, including crafting strategic proposals and value cases.
  • Facilitate executive-level workshops and strategic sessions to co-create innovative R2A solutions with clients.
  • Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and transformation partner.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and empower a global R2A team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of financial outcomes.

Governance, Risk, & Compliance

  • Uphold governance, compliance, and ethical standards across the R2A function, ensuring adherence to SOX, IFRS/GAAP, and internal controls.
  • Proactively manage financial and operational risk and conduct regular audits to ensure integrity and transparency in financial reporting.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA would be preferred.
  • 15 plus years of relevant experience in accounting cycle with expertise with cost optimisation, including Minimum 10 years in a leadership or service delivery role within a global or shared services environment.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or CPA are advantageous; strong proficiency in ERP, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or Oracle Cloud is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, accounting cycle, intercompany accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4/HANA and reconciliation tools).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Strong service delivery orientation with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Technology Awareness and adaptability to evolving financial systems and tools
