Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Lead strategic O2C transformation, drive operational excellence, and deliver high-impact finance outcomes.
  • Inspire teams, engage clients, and champion innovation across global order management, billing, collections, and cash application operations.

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Drive the strategic roadmap for the Order-to-Cash (O2C) function, aligning with enterprise-wide objectives and digital finance transformation initiatives.
  • Serve as a thought leader in Finance & Accounting, delivering impactful O2C solutions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to unlock business value and foster innovation.

End-to-End O2C Delivery Oversight

  • Oversee global O2C operations to ensure high client satisfaction and adherence to SLAs/KPIs.
  • Align O2C and AR delivery with broader business objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.

Transformation Leadership

  • Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives leveraging ERP and O2C platforms.
  • Develop and implement methodologies tailored to evolving client needs.
  • Apply change management and transformation frameworks to modernize O2C processes and enhance delivery models.

Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue business transformation opportunities, including crafting compelling proposals.
  • Facilitate board-level workshops and strategic sessions to co-create innovative solutions with clients.
  • Build and maintain high-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and transformation partner.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and empower a global O2C team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of business outcomes.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Uphold governance, compliance, and ethical standards across the O2C function.
  • Manage risk proactively and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company-defined controls.

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certification)

  • Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA would be preferred.
  • 15 plus years of relevant experience in accounting cycle with expertise with cost optimisation, including Minimum 10 years in a leadership or service delivery role within a global or shared services environment.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or CPA are advantageous; strong proficiency in ERP, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or Oracle Cloud is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, accounting cycle, intercompany accounting principles, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4/HANA and reconciliation tools).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Strong service delivery orientation with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Technology Awareness and adaptability to evolving financial systems and tools
