Description
As Director Business Process Excellence (f/m/d), you will be responsible for advancing Business Process Excellence (BPE) across all functions and regions, focusing on process innovation, standardization, digitalization, and sustainable value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and steer the global BPE vision, roadmap and governance structures in alignment with BPM methodology.
- Lead the global BPE community, especially the Process Owners, to globally design and deploy standardized and efficient processes.
- Drive and coordinate global key initiatives such as the S/4HANA migration, SAP/Concur rollouts, and Shared Services programs.
- Define strategic KPIs, ensure benefit realization, and establish continuous improvement processes through global process integration and innovation.
- Identify trends and foster a culture of agility, continuous improvement, and learning while promoting simplification and digital enablement.
- Represent BPE in global decision-making bodies and actively engage with senior leadership and employee representatives.
- Ensure integration with local regulatory requirements and business needs while promoting cross-functional collaboration on a global scale.
Qualification & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Business Process Management, global transformation programs, or Shared Services environments.
- In-depth expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, BPM methodology, change management, and digital transformation.
- Expertise in leading international, cross-functional teams, combined with strong strategic thinking and assertiveness in setting standards.
- Advanced consulting, moderation and conflict management skills to interculturally work with diverse stakeholders from various backgrounds.
- Entrepreneurial mindset demonstrated business acumen, and a high level of initiative and innovation to identify opportunities.
- Fluent in English and German to build trust-based relationships, and willingness to travel (approx. 30%) as part of projects and stakeholder engagement.
