Key Responsibilities
- Technical and disciplinary management of the Shared Services Center “Financial Service Center” with approximately 25 employees
- Responsibility for the monthly financial statements of German leased and managed hotels according to HGB, US GAAP and IFRS
- Optimization and control of operational processes within accounting to increase efficiency
- Close cooperation with the consolidation and reporting department to prepare the consolidated financial statements
- Management and maintenance of the accounting system (SAP S/4 Hana Cloud) and coordination of external system developers
- Management of harmonization and optimization projects within German accounting processes
Qualification & Requirements
- Commercial training with specialized further training in accounting or business administration studies
- Desirable: Certifications such as tax advisor, auditor, accountant or CPA
- At least 10 years of professional experience in accounting in an international company
- At least 5 years of management experience in a comparable position
- Experience in process optimization and implementation of financial projects
- Knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB), US GAAP, IFRS and experience with SOX standards
