Description

The incumbent will act as the primary strategic advisor to the Regional VP, Field Operations and the leadership team in the development and execution of talent and organisational design plans in support of the overall business strategy. In this role, you will play a pivotal liaison role between business leaders, the HR Leadership Team and HR operations as needed in order to shape and deliver on key people related objectives that drive value for the organisation.

Deputy General Manager – Human Resources

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of the HR Strategy.
  • Support the implementation of the HR aspects of integration plans.
  • Drive the creation and delivery of employee engagement plans within the region, ensure that they are fit for purpose and deliver improvements in engagement, and play a critical role in building an open, customer focused and collaborative culture
  • Contribute to Organisational Design and capability planning for the regions and support in delivery.
  • Work as a partner to the regions and facilitate the development and delivery of training needs analysis and the training plan development for the regions.
  • Support and be a champion for the function in the implementation of the cyclical people review processes within the regions, including performance, reward, talent and succession planning. .
  • Support and coach regional line management on best practice case management, early reconciliation, employment tribunals, HR policy and employment legislation.
  • Lead and contribute to the delivery of a step change in people management capability across the regions including performance management, employee relations and employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement a plan to minimise unwanted attrition and improve retention.
  • In conjunction with the regional management teams create and role model a positive performance management culture within the region.
  • Contribute to the development, and support with the roll out of, HR dashboards, monitoring of HR metrics and analysis of trends. Identify root causes and taking proactive remedial action.
  • Promote ongoing feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes

Qualification & Requirements

Education:

  • Should ideally hold a MBA/ Equivalent in the field of Human Resource. Any additional degree or certification in Coaching or any other HR courses will be an added advantage.

Professional experience:

The incumbent:

  • Demonstrable success in senior HR business partnering and/or related role/s (10+ years)
  • Should be having at least 3+ years of man management experience
  • Should have eexpertise in organisational design, workforce planning and talent management practices
  • Ability to drive HR solutions relevant to local needs in support of business strategy
  • Ability to engage, inspire and influence people through strong verbal/written English communication skills; comfort in presenting to audiences large and small

  • Superior interpersonal and influencing skills and an understanding of commerciality and customer orientation
  • Candidates with MNC background shall be preferred

Languages:

  • Should have excellent hold on English and Hindi as a language.

IT Skills:

  • Digital Literacy is one of the key role requirements for this role. Familiarity with MS Tools- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc and HR Tools like Success Factors etc will also help.
