Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Country Leader – Manila Shared Services to lead and further scale our growing Shared Services organization in Manila.

As a key member of the Global Shared Services Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, stakeholder value, organizational growth, and employee engagement across a shared services operation supporting global business functions. This role combines strategic leadership with operational execution and will play a critical role in shaping the future direction of the Manila Shared Services Center.

You will oversee a workforce of 350+ professionals while partnering with global stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-performing services aligned with enterprise objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and Grow the Shared Services Organization

  • Provide overall leadership for the Manila Shared Services Center.
  • Drive operational excellence through standardized, scalable, and efficient processes.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on service delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Partner with Global Stakeholders

  • Collaborate with business leaders, functional heads, and corporate stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into service delivery objectives.
  • Ensure services are aligned with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner across the organization.

Drive Business Transformation

  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery through process optimization, automation, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Support enterprise-wide transformation programs and global process improvements.
  • Contribute to the evolution and maturity of the Shared Services function.

Build and Develop Talent

  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Create an inclusive and engaging workplace culture that promotes employee growth and retention.
  • Develop future leaders and strengthen organizational capability.

Deliver Results

  • Establish and monitor performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure operational goals, quality standards, and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.
  • Leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Manage Site Operations

  • Provide oversight for local functions including Human Resources, Finance, Facilities, and site governance.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and adherence to company policies and controls.

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or advanced qualifications are an advantage.

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience.
  • 3–5+ years leading a Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), Global Manufacturing or similar operational environment within a multinational organization.
  • Proven experience scaling teams, driving transformation initiatives, and managing large, diverse workforces.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives and global stakeholders.
