Our client, a larger international manufacturing company, is looking for a skilled Financial Controller to lead our finance operations. In this role, you will oversee the monthly close and consolidation process, ensuring the timely issuance of financial statements. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient systems and data integrity.

  • Analyze market trends and develop strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Provide strategic data analysis and support strategic planning activities.
  • Partner with IT and other stakeholders to ensure efficient systems and data integrity.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business processes and key performance drivers.
  • Lead and manage a team, providing oversight and direction.
  • Establish and maintain accounting and financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Thrive in a global matrix environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Improve closing and reporting cycles.
  • Develop and monitor financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to financial controls.
  • Analyze financial statements and provide insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage annual audits with external auditors.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports.
  • Monitor billing, invoicing, inventory accounting, and payroll administration.
  • Coordinate investments and maintain fixed asset records.
  • Oversee accounting staff in a shared services environment.
  • Document processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business
  • Preferred: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Experience: 8+ years
