Paramount to the successful transformation and effective execution of strategy, the role will lead the shared services group and provide expert advice to the Executive leadership team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a portfolio of functions including finance, procurement, infrastructure, project delivery and enterprise portfolio management, process and continuous improvement, governance, legal, audit and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing company operations with a particular emphasis on employee productivity and accountability, ensuring team members can thrive and consistently meet organizational targets
  • Adopting a commercial and risk management lens to the development of models for the organization, operating in a complex and highly regulated environment
  • Influencing teams to best channel resources and organizational capability, while providing complete clarity on the execution of established strategies
  • Collaborating with internal and external networks and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of strategic outcomes and driving a proactive approach to organizational development
  • Introducing actions that redesign organizational structures, processes, systems and reporting for improved output and informed decision making
  • Establishing plans for the infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate for the growth and development objectives of the organization
  • Providing guidance and motivation to a team of passionate departmental leaders, supporting their professional growth, development and contribution to the overall strategy

Qualification & Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, coupled with significant experience in a senior management position and stakeholder engagement
  • Highly capable and well versed in driving continuous improvement and change at scale
  • Confident implementing strategies that drive the delivery of efficient and effective corporate services, across a complex large-scale, international organization
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving financial performance, optimizing resource allocation and/or developing new market, product or revenue opportunities
  • Confident in the preparation of comprehensive reporting and project documentation with the ability to interpret complex information for stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience with the ability to collaborate, manage and get the best out of remote teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills, needed to build strong and trusted relationships with strategic stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple, often conflicting, priorities
  • A willingness to align attitude and mindset with the intrinsic values and principles of the organization
