The COO will be responsible for the operational leadership of the company, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and profitability across all business units. This role will oversee property management operations, asset performance, project execution, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the real estate and property management industry, operational best practices, and a proven track record of leading teams and systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of property management, maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations across the portfolio.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company’s short- and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on acquisitions, capital improvements, and development projects.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational benchmarks to ensure efficiency, profitability, and high tenant satisfaction.
  • Drive technology adoption and process improvement across operational functions.
  • Lead budgeting, expense control, and operational forecasting in coordination with the CFO and finance teams.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and quality control across all properties and departments.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and customer service across teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and key third-party service providers.
  • Support due diligence and integration efforts for property acquisitions and dispositions.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of operational leadership experience in real estate, property management, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site property portfolios, including residential and commercial assets.
  • Strong working knowledge of property management software
  • Track record of successfully scaling operations, improving efficiency, and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on management style.
