Description
As part of our Finance Transformation journey, we are re-designing the way we deliver finance services globally creating more consistent, efficient, and technology-enabled processes that allow us to focus on what matters most: insights, governance, and business partnership.
We are looking for an RTR Senior Manager to lead this change from our Finance COE in Bangalore. This role goes beyond managing day-to-day operations: you will be at the heart of shaping how RTR evolves, driving digital transformation, embedding global standards, and leading a high-performing team through change.

Key Responsibilities
As the Centre Lead, Senior Manager – Record to Report (RTR) – Global Business Services (GBS), you will:
- Lead with transformation: Partner with the Global Business Services (GBS) RTR Director at HQ to drive the Global Finance Transformation Agenda, embedding new ways of working, digital tools, and automation.
- Oversee end-to-end RTR operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of close, and support for statutory and US audits.
- Manage the transition of new processes into the COE, ensuring smooth onboarding and successful stabilization.
- Champion process harmonisation, standardisation, and automation — driving efficiency gains and improving KPIs across global markets.
- Use technology (SAP, Blackline, RPA, AI/ML) to re-imagine RTR delivery and create best-in-class solutions.
- Act as a business partner to global stakeholders, providing insights, foresight, and governance beyond transactional support.
- Coach and develop a team of people managers to lead with agility, resilience, and a transformation mindset.
- Serve as the final escalation point for complex accounting challenges, ensuring pragmatic and globally aligned resolutions.

Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting required
- CPA/CA preferred
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with strong RTR domain expertise
- Proven success in finance transformation or large-scale change projects
- Experience in shared services/GBS with multinational organizations
- Strong people management experience leading managers and large, global teams
- Solid grounding in US GAAP/IFRS, SOX compliance, and ERP systems (SAP required; Blackline mandatory; OneStream/Hyperion a plus)
Skills
- Strong program and project management capability, especially in transformation initiatives
- Ability to manage ambiguity and lead teams confidently through change
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across levels and cultures
- A problem solver who is equally comfortable designing new solutions and running stable operations
