Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the service delivery of US Individual and Corporate tax returns(Form 1040, 1120S, 1065 and 1120) including state and local tax returns..
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of tax returns and related filings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US tax clients, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to discuss tax planning strategies and review engagement progress.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on complex tax issues.
  • Manage team workflow and ensure efficient allocation of resources to meet client deadlines.
  • Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for additional services and cross-selling within the existing client base.
  • Participate in client proposals and presentations to secure new engagements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute client engagement strategies.
  • Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline workflows.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to tax delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualification & Requirements

  • CPA, CA, EA or equivalent qualification with PTIN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in US tax operations (both Individual and Corporate tax) working with an Outsourcing or Shared Services organization.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations .
  • Proven experience in managing client engagements and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in tax software and technology tools, CCH, OneSource, GoSystem.
