In the position as Shared Business Controller and Shared Services Leader you will play a pivotal role in leading the Shared Service Organisations in the United Kingdom with a vision for the future. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Oversee Accounting, IT, and Site Services for efficient operations.

Foster a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
Financial Oversight & Compliance
- Manage corporate tax returns and liaise with tax authorities.

Ensure legal & tax compliance, staying updated on regulations.

Oversee annual accounts submission with accuracy and timeliness.
Strategic Planning & Compliance

Lead budgeting & financial planning processes.

Analyze data to support decision-making & business strategy.

Monitor and validate financial forecasts.
Internal Controls & Advisory

Develop and test accounting procedures & internal controls.

Provide strategic insights & recommendations to leadership.
External Relations & Communication

Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and insurers.

Ensure alignment with international counterparts & parent company.

Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights.
North Europe Cluster Lead

Lead shared services transformation & collaboration.

Foster innovation & process efficiency across regions.

Drive cross-departmental communication & improvement.
Qualification & Requirements
What you know
- We are looking for someone with a master’s degree in business administration or a similar field, combined with at least ten years of experience in an international business environment.
- We believe you have a solid background as a Financial Controller in a sales-driven company and a solid understanding of pension scheme administration.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to analyze financial impacts and navigate the complexities of global business.
- You bring a proven track record in leading budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you use your financial expertise to drive business success while ensuring compliance with fiscal and legal requirements.
