Description
We are seeking an experienced Billing Team Lead to manage and inspire our Billing shared services team. This role involves overseeing billing activities, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Billing team, ensuring efficient and effective billing processes.
- Support analysis and management of key performance indicators and service level agreements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and process automation.
- Respond to escalated billing-related inquiries and support external audit efforts.
- Establish and manage team policies, procedures, and controls.
- Coordinate with teams at various localized operating companies.
- Drive team performance and employee engagement through strong management and coaching.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting functions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP or equivalent ERP in a shared services environment.
- Proven track record in leading billing teams and delivering high levels of customer service.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic mindset.
- Familiarity with GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
