Description

As the Associate Finance Director for the Business Finance India Capability Center, you will hold a pivotal position in designing, steering and executing the E2E Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Analysis operations for APAC, alongside the new Integrated Business Planning process across all APAC markets and for the region. In this leadership capacity, you will lead and mentor a team of talented analysts and managers, cultivating a high-performance culture that prioritizes collaboration and ongoing improvement through the utilization of advanced automation tools.

This is a high visibility role reporting into the region and you will work proactively with market Finance CFOs tdrive accuracy in financial forecasting and facilitate data-driven analysis to drive informed strategic decision-making. Your leadership will be pivotal in creating an environment that nurtures both individual and team development, ultimately playing a key role in advancing the organization’s success and achieving its overarching goals.

The Associate Finance Director is expected to be hands on and detail-oriented, while being able to navigate complexities of a matrixed organization, systems and time zones. The candidate must also have superior P&L, B/S, Cashflow management fundamentals and connect business to numbers, for which Commercial finance experience will be beneficial. This leader will also spearhead the development of AI footprint and technology embedment into Kenvue APAC FP&A design.

Key Responsibilities

  • India capability center Design and Execute: Lead the design and development of robust financial planning and analysis frameworks tailored to the needs of the APAC region. This includes troubleshooting any discrepancies in financial data and executing effective solutions to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial forecasts.
  • Integrated Business Planning Financials: Take charge of the financial valuation process for Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for all APAC markets. This involves collaborating closely with cross-functional operational teams and partnering with the market commercial finance team to ensure seamless integration and alignment. Cultivate a deep understanding of the core components of IBP, while effectively identifying and linking opportunities and risks. Your role will be pivotal in aligning financial objectives with operational strategies, thereby facilitating a cohesive approach to both business planning and execution.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead and supervise all FP&A functions for the APAC markets, guaranteeing the seamless incorporation of monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) financials into the quarterly forecasting process. This includes the development of comprehensive annual budgets and conducting regular performance analysis. Moreover, ensure that all data is accurately uploaded into Kenvue Financial Planning system with zero defects. Your insights will be essential in supporting strategic business decisions and driving financial performance across the region.
  • Automation of Financial Processes: Champion the automation of financial reporting and analysis processes to significantly improve efficiency, accuracy, and the timeliness of financial information. Leverage advanced financial technologies and tools to streamline operations, enabling the finance team to deliver insights more effectively and respond promptly to organizational needs. Lead End to End financial system synchronization projects aimed at achieving a touchless approach to financial planning and forecasting. Spearhead the development of AI footprint and technology embedment into Kenvue APAC FP&A design.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with the market Finance Head and the Commercial finance team to provide critical insights and guidance on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Your role will involve ensuring alignment with overall business objectives while working with cross-functional teams on P&L and cash forecasting. Maintain a focus on achieving forecasting accuracy to support sound financial planning.
  • Team Development: Act as a mentor and coach to members of the GCC finance team, promoting their professional development and nurturing a culture of excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a high-performing team that consistently delivers exceptional financial insights and support, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Extensive Finance Management Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of Finance management experience, with a strong emphasis on FP&A and experience in driving automation initiatives and hands-on proficiency with various FP&A systems that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Solution-Oriented Mindset: Foster a culture of innovation within the finance team by promoting creative problem-solving and identifying process enhancements that improve financial performance and reporting accuracy. An independent thinker with a proactive approach, showcasing strong skills in planning, organization, and prioritization.
  • Collaborative in Matrixed Environments: Proven capability to thrive in a matrixed environment, collaborating successfully with diverse and remote teams. A track record of success in finance leadership roles, characterized by excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively is essential.
