Associate Director, Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of advanced technology solutions that meet business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and understanding their technology requirements to provide tailored consulting services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business processes, recommending improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in technology implementation, project management, and client engagement.
  • Drive the adoption of best technology solutions and agile process.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on client business operations.
  • Ensuring quality deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, presentations, and industry conferences.
  • Support/participate in department management and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met

Qualification & Requirements

  • Fluent English communication is mandate
  • Strong domain knowledge on advisory related products
  • Proven leadership/coordination skills to work with business, development team and testing team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience in Global Private Banking IT and in Investment/Discretionary is a plus
  • Experience of working on a global scale (i.e. across timezone & geography and with remote teams)
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile (sAFE) methodoly
  • Ownership and accountablity of the deliveries
  • Experience with distributed and multi-cultural teams
  • Experience of JIRA, Confluence,
  • Experience of digital journey.
  • Experience to Accessibility and Tealium testing.
  • Experience with automation testing tool. like Selenium, TOSCA, QTP etc.
  • Professional experience in a large Global organisation preferably in an IT department or shared service organisation
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Positive, proactive and can-do attitude

Nice to have:

  • Professional certifications on technology or project management domains
  • Experience of Private Banking and investment service is a value added
