Description

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Associate Director, Procurement with a proven track record in performance improvement. This role combines operational and commercial skills to support the performance improvement team in various procurement and supply chain engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing (both direct and indirect categories), spend assessment and analysis, contract and vendor management. The role will also involve other performance improvement initiatives such as cost optimization and transformation programs.

About Performance Improvement (PI) Services Our PI team provides Business Transformation and Performance Improvement Services to Corporates, Investors, and their portfolio companies, delivering –

  • Performance improvement via cost reduction and revenue growth programs
  • Large, complex organizational restructuring and business transformation
  • Rapid Results Program, which helps to quickly and effectively assess business process management risks and identify key areas impeding performance

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support performance improvement projects across procurement and supply chain domains.
  • Execute end to end procurement processes, includ including strategic sourcing for direct and indirect categories.
  • Conduct spends assessments and analysis to identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Manage contracts and vendor relationships to ensure optimal performance and value.
  • Lead in performance improvement initiatives, including cost optimization and transformation programs.
  • Collaborate with A&M global Partners/Managing Directors across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas to develop and
  • implement distinctive solutions and go-to-market propositions.
  • Contribute to the growth of the procurement function by driving significant performance improvements and innovative solutions.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 9+ years of relevant experience in performance improvement, with a focus on procurement.
  • MBA or master’s in supply chain and Operations from a top-tier institute.
  • Experience working with a Big 4 or Big 3 consulting firm, delivering procurement transformation and sourcing projects.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT), visualization tools such as Power BI / Tableau, data analysis tools Alteryx / SQL.
  • Good to have process / functional experience in digital procurement tools such as Coupa / Ariba / Ivalua
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
