Associate Director, Financial Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial statement information on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis including confirming financial accounts are reconciled and outstanding issues resolved on a timely basis
• Ensure billing and cash collection processes are functioning properly, and liaise with business representatives for solving issues
• Partner with stakeholders to address requests for accounting policy interpretation and/or provide guidance from an accounting perspective with a specific focus on ensuring the accuracy of all related accounting transactions and the appropriate reporting
• Establish and maintain a rigorous financial control environment ensuring compliance with internal financial policies
• Identify, document and implement process improvements to ensure sustainable controls are embedded in each financial process to reduce risk and improve standardization
• Ensure complete and updated process documentation is centrally maintained and that adequate cross-training exists to provide seamless back-up support during individual absences
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support internal and external audits
• Ensure statutory compliance for applicable legal entities and business units. This includes maintaining relationships with regional authorities to ensure understanding of Romania statutory requirements
• Manage, coach and develop a team of professionals
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification & Requirements

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management

Highly desirable:

• Experience in FP&A, treasury, audit or operations
• Outsourcing experience from both customer and/or service provider perspective(s)
• Knowledge of SAP and Blackline (Preferred)
