Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Transformation Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the company’s business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and develop technical architectures that support our strategic initiatives.

The role work as technical/solution/enterprise architects and design a complete and complex framework, system or product. They define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.

Associate Director, Application Transformation Architecture

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement technical architectures for large-scale enterprise systems, leveraging AWS, Java, and Python technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical architectures that are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in the development of the company’s technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture.
  • Integrate AI and Generative AI technologies into applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in application development, such as serverless architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), edge computing, and low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Conduct performance and security audits to ensure applications meet industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Participate in the development of technical standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • They also conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes.
  • They identify, analyze and resolve system design weaknesses.
  • They influence future product development by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems.
  • These professional groups provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

Qualification & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Application architecture role, with a focus on enterprise architecture.
  • Proficiency (hands on) in Java and/or Python programming languages. Knowledge & use of AI based Code Assistance/Generators like Amazon Q or Cloud Code.
  • Experience with AI/ML development, including traditional AI and Generative AI.
  • Proficiency or knowledge of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of containerization and serverless computing.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Certification in AWS is a plus.
