Description

As the Assistant Vice President for Credentialing Shared Services, you will strategically lead the credentialing shared services activities. You will work collaboratively with Parallon Shared Services CEOs, CPC AVPs, well as Division offices and corporate departments to assure credentialing functions meet internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the CPC management teams to assure that the CPCs operate in a manner that meets the established service levels and published governmental, accreditation, and audit requirements
  • Act as a proactive liaison between the CPCs, Division Executives, Hospital Executives, and corporate representatives
  • Maintain communication with regional CPC AVPs to assure standard and accurate processes are being maintained
  • Work with Parallon and corporate IT&S to assure that desired technology is delivered fully tested, within budget, and within scheduled timelines
  • Work with Parallon reporting department to meet growing demand for credentialing data and reports from facilities, divisions, group, and senior executive requestors
  • Serve as a central point of contact for audits, compliance reporting, and legal issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolved credentialing customer service and operational issues raised by hospitals, divisions, groups, and various corporate departments

Qualification & Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • At least 7 years in health care experience required
  • JCAHO certified organizational experience preferred
  • Detailed working knowledge of the health care and credentialing industry, including medical-legal issues and laws, regulatory agencies, and other national standards preferred
  • NAMSS certified as a CPMSM level preferred
