We are a Financial Services Outsourcing Services and Bookkeeping Solutions Provider Company to the clients in the US , UK & Australia.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Finance Director to support and enhance the financial operations of our global Shared Services Center (SSC) in India. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing company business processes, ensuring compliance with international standards, and driving efficiencies across the organization’s business processes globally.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Assist the Finance VP in shaping and executing the financial strategy of the SSC to support global business objectives.
  • Drive operational efficiency, analysis, and reporting of productivity, financial metrics, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Develop and implement policies, controls, and processes to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead and manage key financial and business processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger, procurement, customer service, and financial reporting among others.
  • Ensure the SSC delivers high-quality, timely, and cost-effective services to all business units worldwide.
  • Drive automation and innovation in operations to optimize workflows and reduce costs.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are in place.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Development

  • Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with broader business goals.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a key liaison between the SSC and global teams, business leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Qualification & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA/CPA/CA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a shared services or multinational organization.
  • Proven experience in global financial processes, compliance, and reporting.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial tools.
  • Expertise in international accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with global teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
