The Director plays a critical role in AI adoption, compliance monitoring, and reporting, ensuring a structured pathway for AI initiatives from ideation to production.

AI Demand Portfolio Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the AI demand function, ensuring seamless interaction between CIOs and the central AI team
  • Oversee triaging of AI use cases together with ensuring proper routing to AI services, platforms, standards, and controls
  • Drive AI adoption and scale common AI services across the bank while preventing duplicate or overlapping use cases
  • Own and manage the AI Book of Work (BoW) across CIOs and central services. Define and govern the AI service catalog, tracking AI demand and recommending new AI services
  • Ensure alignment with AI cost/consumption teams for appropriate funding and resource allocation
  • Supervise governance of AI pipeline, ensuring RAG status tracking, compliance, and escalation to senior stakeholders

Qualification & Requirements

  • Solid knowledge in technology, product, or AI governance roles, with experience in financial services or a highly regulated industry
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives
  • Experience in AI/ML use case lifecycle management, from demand intake to productionisation.
  • Deep understanding of AI governance, compliance, and transparency reporting
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in AI cost management and business case development.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms, standardisation, and enterprise AI frameworks
