Description
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic expansion of performance advertising solutions through agency partnerships, driving measurable business growth and revenue impact.
- Own the planning and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies in close collaboration with cross-functional (XFN) teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Legal.
- Build and maintain high-level strategic partnerships with agencies, co-developing growth plans aligned with client objectives.
- Drive solution enablement and implementation by coordinating cross-functional teams around new product launches, feature rollouts, and operational readiness.
- Analyze market trends, client needs, and campaign performance to identify actionable insights and inform continuous solution improvement.
- Act as a key contributor in the feedback loop between clients, agencies, and XFN teams to improve product-market fit and customer value.
- Define success metrics and lead performance monitoring, reporting, and optimization to maximize business impact.
- Serve as an internal and external evangelist for performance advertising solutions, delivering thought leadership and strategic recommendations across stakeholders.
Qualification & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in digital advertising or performance marketing (agency, advertiser, or platform side).
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional collaboration in complex projects.
- Experience in developing client-centric solutions based on marketing strategy, campaign goals, or business challenges.
- Direct involvement in go-to-market (GTM) processes for ad products, features, or platform solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights and actions.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency (both verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a matrixed or global organization with multi-stakeholder alignment.
- Hands-on experience in launching or scaling advertising products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Background in solution selling, sales planning, or marketing strategy in the B2B space.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or BigQuery.
- Experience in strategic planning or joint business development with large advertising agencies.
- Ability to operate with a product-oriented mindset and drive adoption across diverse partners.
