Description
The Associate Director, HR GBS Coordination & Services is responsible for overseeing and managing end to end HR processes, solutions, services, and projects for the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Acts as an HR Partner representing HR GBS Coordination & Services on HR related needs and priorities
- Understands the US HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and local HR to translate strategy into implementable local HR solutions while providing guidance/direction to stakeholders on downstream impacts to HR processes, systems, and annual events to ensure long term business success
- Works with local and global stakeholders within and beyond HR to ensure that global direction is locally executed
- Oversees, develops, and manages HR GBS Coordination & Services activities for the US, in close collaboration with the relevant Corporate HR, GBS, Project Management Office (PMO) and Analytics Teams, also considering respective US regulations by leveraging external and internal partners
- Partners/collaborates with HR to execute local HR policies, programs, and processes with a continuous improvement mindset in line with global standards. Examples include talent acquisition, workforce planning, data management, HR KPIs, HR projects, and other compliance related topics
- Is an active member in the US HR Team and represents the US in the respective global HR Communities, exchanging with peers in other countries to leverage best practices
- Partners with GBS HR Point of Contact to monitor SLAs, escalations, and related performance delivery issues to determine cause and correct course of remediation which could result in changes to processes, documentation, training, and communications
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and current adherence to GBS HR and local US processes
- Provides training and guidance as processes change as necessary
- Provides project management support for medium to large scale projects that involve process and/or system implementation, redesign, or changes, including acquisitions and divestitures
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or similar discipline; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant HR work experience, HR Project Management, HR systems implementation. Mixture of HR CoE, HRBP and shared services experiences highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and translate system implications and associated downstream process impacts
- Strong business acumen, open to continuous transformation and understanding of complex matrix business networks with a proven ability to build and leverage relevant connections with other stakeholders
- Demonstrated assertiveness and capability to thrive in a diverse and complex environment
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with evaluating data/information using good analytical and practical problem-solving skills, even in ambiguous circumstances.
- Highly customer-oriented mindset and able to translate customer needs into adequate HR solutions and work across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Change management skills to effectively influence and communicate across all levels

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
