Accounts Payable Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations
• Monitor and optimize the accounts payable shared services structure
• Develop and implement efficient AP processes and workflows
• Assess and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval
• Review and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices
• Build relationships with vendors and resolve any payment or invoice inquiries
• Monitor vendor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and accurate
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Robust 1099 and 1042 experience
• Shared Services and factory model experience
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Strong team management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Skilled in Excel and accounting software and ERP systems
