Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful setup and go live of our new Financial Shared Service Center in Cebu, Philippines for the AP Function.
• Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments across various currencies and regions.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance in the accounts payable process.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve payment issues and optimize cash flow management.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounts payable professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial controls.
• Analyze payment trends and develop strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting accounts payable operations.

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelors Degree, Accounting, Finance, or other related Business discipline; MBA preferred
• 11-13 years of experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably within a shared services environment.
• Experience in a major “rollout” management Required
• Proven experience in managing accounts payable operations across multiple countries.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and software; experience with ERP systems. Oracle Cloud is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
