Description
Johnson & Johnson Global Services is recruiting for a A2R DPS Senior Director leading the Account to Report team for the Orthopaedics business globally.
Johnson & Johnson Global Services Finance provides A2R services and financial support for Johnson & Johnson companies across all regions (Asia Pacific, EMEA, Latin America and North America) from its Global Services Center in Manila. This role will be fully responsible and accountable for the overall leadership, strategy, and direction of Account to Report activities for Orthopaedics. This role will establish a team with a global mindset, create a positive culture and drive standardization and simplification of processes. The role provides leadership to a team of direct and indirect reports primarily based in hubs in Colombia and Philippines, supported by third party BPO providers and directly collaborate with Process Leads across all of the Regions, Global partners and the Global Process Owner to further evolve processes.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals. It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Orthopaedics business. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Orthopaedics at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the vision, strategy and delivery of Account to Report processes for Johnson & Johnson Orthopaedics business globally.
- Attract, develop and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Credo-based team, driving diversity, equity and inclusion
- Provide strategic direction to team, build expertise and a ‘can-do’ attitude within the process areas, empower and hold the team accountable to lead the end to end processes, driving standardization and continuous improvement
- Play a leadership role in talent development, working with other process leads across A2R
- Partnering with colleagues to continually improve service performance, driving efficient delivery of great results and metrics to ensure effective execution of processes
- Ensure processes remain compliant, meeting all quality, statutory, regulatory and SOX 404 requirements. Provide guidance, direction and expertise to support all internal and external audits, ensuring effective controls for end-to-end processes.
- Engage with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners to cultivate One Team mentality, building positive relationships across the organisation to deliver results and to drive best practice. Maintaining oversight and ownership of overall quality
- Maintain and foster external relationships and benchmarking to ensure responsiveness to changing environment
- Partner with Global Process Owner (GPO) & Global Process Lead (GPL) to identify and drive outstanding policy, process and technology/automation improvements
- Collaborate with other A2R process teams to ensure end to end workings of A2R are as streamlined and standardised as possible
- Mentor and reward team to drive the continuous improvement mentality, looking for the big and small improvements that make a difference
- Actively participate with the GS Leadership Team to provide overall leadership and direction to the future of GS Finance in support of the broader Global Services Vision and new ways of working.
- Be open to integrate new scope opportunities, successfully executing as required
- Provide leadership to acquisitions, divestures, reorganizations and other integrations as required
- Participation in regional, global and cross functional initiatives and projects

Qualification & Requirements
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s level degree is required, preferably in accounting or finance
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred
Required Experience and Skills:
- At least 15 years of professional experience is required
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO Experience leading Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company
- Significant experience driving large, complex projects to a successful completion as well as ability to work in a Global environment
- Ability to lead a large organization through change while maintaining day-to-day operations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees, colleagues, leaders and stakeholders at all levels with a consistent track record of influencing outcomes remotely
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
- Successfully manage multiple priorities and be very organized
- Develop and maintain a high-performing team with the ability to lead in a matrixed environment
- Strong ability to mentor and delegate as appropriate
- Ability to champion new ideas, concepts and technologies and obtain consensus from executive leadership and peers

- Track record of driving business results through inspirational leadership, empowering people to act with speed, agility and accountability to deliver against the organizational goals
- Strong understanding of standard methodologies in Accounting and Financial Systems, including SAP
