Description

GBS Director role leads service delivery and operational improvements for Finance Operations in Latin America (7 countries in the region), driving process standardization, ERP implementation, and organizational growth. The position requires leadership experience, cultural and compliance awareness, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across finance, operations, procurement, and market teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structure Operations to accommodate revised operating model.
  • Form a high performing team together with the Operations Managers
  • Build a trust based working relationship with key stakeholders within the Cluster and GBS organisation
  • Develop a strong understanding of company’s commercial model, retail operations, e-commerce, inventory/cash flows and market dynamics in LATAM to act as a trusted business partner rather than solely a service provider.
  • Impact ongoing operations through tangible contribution towards improved service levels, spotless MEC process
  • Embed service excellence and continuous improvement mindsets.
  • Deliver the capability uplift, with enhanced quality as well as reduced attrition as outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships and influence across regional and global stakeholders, balancing business needs with global standards while driving alignment and accountability.
  • Support ongoing delivery on approved business cases (investments)
  • Provide support towards ongoing GBS projects/ initiatives (i.e. inventory excellence project, Procure to Pay 2.0 etc.)
  • Reassess and evolve the operating model to ensure it is scalable, sustainable and aligned with global ways of working.
  • Drive structural resolution of long-standing operational challenges, ensuring durable and fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Strengthen collaboration and performance management of external partners, enhancing accountability and delivery outcomes.

Qualification & Requirements

Ideal Profile

  • 8+ years of solid experience working within GBS, SSC organisation and/or support functions
  • 4+ years in services leadership positions
  • Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry (preferred)
  • Strong transformation experience from multiple global organizations
  • Fluent in English – verbally and written
  • Portuguese proficiency is a plus
