Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Employee Shared Services (ESS) Head to lead the design, governance, and delivery of centralized HR services across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring seamless, efficient, and high-quality HR support across key functions including Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and Employee Relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall strategy, governance, and execution of HR Shared Services across multiple HR service lines
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operational processes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency
  • Develop and implement scalable and efficient service delivery models that enhance employee experience
  • Drive operational excellence through process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Champion HR digital transformation by leveraging HR technologies, automation, and data analytics
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment support, and employee relations case management
  • Establish strong governance frameworks, KPIs, and service level agreements (SLAs) to measure and improve performance
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and business leaders to align HR Shared Services with organizational goals and priorities
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal HR teams and external partners/vendors
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement across all HR service lines

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within HR Shared Services or HR Operations
  • Strong background in HR operations including Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations
  • Proven experience in process improvement, HR transformation, or digital HR initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems, ticketing/service management tools)
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decisions and improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale shared services or centralized HR service models
