Description

This is not a traditional job opening.

This is an Index Call for Operatif’s Global Capability Center (GCC) Bench, used by Private Equity and Growth Equity funds to identify leaders who can step into portfolio companies and build, scale, or restructure offshore and nearshore operating hubs.

We are building a high-fidelity layer of GCC Executives, Site Leads, and Managing Directors calibrated for high-stakes environments where cross-border operations directly impact margin expansion, product velocity, and enterprise value.

Global Capability Center (GCC) Executive

Key Responsibilities

The Operator We Are Indexing We index operations and technology leaders operating at the GCC Head / Managing Director / VP Operations / CXOs scope, including:

  • Leaders who have built 0→1 offshore capability centers for global enterprises or PE-backed assets.
  • Site Directors who have scaled existing GCCs, driving massive talent acquisition without compromising delivery quality or culture.
  • Transformation leaders who have successfully transitioned outsourced vendor models (BPO/IT) into captive, high-performing internal hubs.
  • “Bilingual leaders” who fluently translate global board-level EBITDA objectives into local operational execution.

This is not about title or acting as a passive facility manager. It’s about P&L ownership, cross-border governance, and measurable financial impact.

Where You Typically Create Value

Operators in this index are typically deployed in situations such as:

  • Designing and launching greenfield GCCs to capture immediate cost arbitrage and talent availability.
  • Scaling mature offshore hubs from functional support centers into strategic innovation and delivery engines.
  • Executing Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) models or consolidating fragmented vendor landscapes into a unified captive center.
  • Restructuring underperforming GCCs to stabilize attrition, fix broken agile delivery pipelines, and restore predictability.

Qualification & Requirements

The Admission Standard

Operatif focuses on execution signals over narratives. We look for demonstrable impact across areas such as:

  • Scale: Headcount growth, multi-functional discipline expansion, and total operating budget managed.
  • Efficiency: Documented EBITDA impact, structural cost savings, and working capital optimization.
  • Delivery: Increased engineering throughput, faster product cycles, or improved SLAs driven by the GCC.
  • Transformation: Successful vendor-to-captive migrations, site consolidations, or rapid post-M&A integration.

How We Evaluate Operators

We don’t rely on titles alone. We evaluate:

  • What you owned (P&L, headcount, functional areas)
  • What changed under your leadership
  • What financial and operational outcomes can be evidenced

Your Operatif Tear Sheet reflects this through structured execution signals and deployment context.

Benefits

Why Join the Operatif Index?

  • Direct Visibility: Your profile is surfaced directly to PE/VC partners and portfolio CEOs for high-impact GCC and transformation mandates.
  • Signal over Narrative: Structured Tear Sheets replace traditional resumes, highlighting your actual operating math.
  • Deployment Fit: Matching is based on real execution contexts (capital scale, domain, mandate), not keyword searches.
