Description

The Director, EMEA/APAC Entity Projects & ERP Conversions will lead complex initiatives across Legal Entity (LE) separation, ERP platform conversions (Oracle and SAP), and Finance reporting transformation. This role is accountable for driving end‑to‑end execution of entity rationalization and system migration programs across the EMEA and APAC regions, ensuring operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with global Finance, Tax, and Technology strategies.

This leader will partner closely with regional and global stakeholders to design and implement scalable business processes, oversee ERP conversion activities, and manage the financial reporting impacts of structural changes. The role requires deep expertise in Oracle and SAP environments, strong business process acumen, and proven experience leading cross‑functional transformation in a multinational context.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Entity Separation & Rationalization

  • Lead planning and execution of LE separation, mergers, dissolutions, and rationalization initiatives across EMEA and APAC.
  • Partner with Legal, Tax, Treasury, HR, and regional business leaders to ensure compliant and efficient entity transitions.
  • Oversee mapping of processes, controls, and reporting requirements impacted by entity changes.
  • Ensure alignment with global governance frameworks and regulatory obligations in each jurisdiction.

ERP Conversions & Systems Transformation

  • Direct end‑to‑end ERP conversion programs, including Oracle‑to‑SAP, SAP‑to‑Oracle, or intra‑platform migrations.
  • Oversee data migration strategy, chart of accounts alignment, master data design, and system cutover planning.
  • Collaborate with IT and global process owners to ensure system design supports future‑state operating models.
  • Drive standardization and simplification of Finance processes across regions during system transitions.

Finance Reporting & Process Transformation

  • Lead changes to financial reporting structures, including consolidation impacts, statutory reporting, and management reporting.
  • Ensure reporting continuity during entity transitions and ERP conversions.
  • Partner with FP&A, Controllership, and regional Finance teams to redesign reporting processes and controls.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate Finance processes across the EMEA/APAC footprint.

Program Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the senior program leader for cross‑regional transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Manage governance forums, steering committees, and executive updates.
  • Build strong relationships with regional leaders, global functional heads, and external advisors.
  • Lead risk management, issue resolution, and change‑management activities across all workstreams.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Finance transformation, ERP programs, or large‑scale business process change.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Oracle and SAP ERP platforms, including Finance modules.
  • Strong understanding of global Finance processes (Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, Tax, Treasury).
  • Demonstrated experience leading Legal Entity separation, entity rationalization, or post‑merger integration.
  • Proven track record managing multi‑region programs across EMEA and/or APAC.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive‑level engagement.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive clarity, and lead cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
