Description
We are looking for a strategic and business-oriented Head of HR to lead the Human Resources function for a fast-growing Global Capability Center (GCC) within the Financial Services domain. The role will partner closely with global leadership teams to build a high-performance culture, strengthen talent capabilities, and drive the people agenda across business transformation, growth, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate should bring strong experience in scaling GCCs, managing complex stakeholder environments, and building future-ready HR practices within BFSI, Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, FinTech, or related financial services ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with the GCC’s business goals and global people agenda.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership teams on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and culture.
- Drive transformation initiatives supporting business expansion, operational efficiency, and digital enablement.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Build scalable hiring strategies for technology, operations, analytics, risk, finance, compliance, and shared services functions.
- Strengthen employer branding to position the GCC as a preferred employer in the market.
- Partner with leadership teams on manpower planning and succession planning.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Foster a high-engagement, performance-driven, and inclusive culture.
- Design initiatives around employee wellness, diversity & inclusion, leadership engagement, and retention.
- Drive employee communication and change management initiatives during periods of growth or transformation.
Performance & Leadership Development
- Lead performance management frameworks, leadership capability building, and talent review processes.
- Build strong learning and development programs aligned to business and leadership pipelines.
- Create robust succession planning and leadership readiness frameworks.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, governance standards, and global HR policies.
- Oversee HR operations including compensation, benefits, HRMS, employee relations, and policy management.
- Drive HR analytics and data-driven decision-making for workforce effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with global HR teams and business leaders across regions.
- Act as a bridge between local GCC operations and global corporate HR practices.
- Support leadership in driving organizational effectiveness and workforce productivity.
Qualification & Requirements
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Strong experience working within GCC/Shared Services environments.
- Prior experience in Financial Services, Banking, BFSI, FinTech, Insurance, or Capital Markets preferred.
- Proven track record of scaling teams in high-growth environments.
