Description

We are hiring a Regional O2C Lead who will handle (North Africa, Turkey and Europe) for a very well known multinational FMCG company located in New Cairo.

Regional Finance Shared Services Lead – O2C

Key Responsibilities

O2C Operations Management

  • Oversee and ensure effective delivery of the following O2C processes: Demand Capture, Billing and Invoicing, Payment Application, Credit Analysis, Claims and Deductions Management, Collections, Reference Data Management and Customer Solutions and Sales Support

Service Delivery & Performance Management

  • Monitor and improve key O2C performance indicators such as:
  • Invoice accuracy
  • Demand capture accuracy
  • DSO and collection effectiveness
  • Write-offs and deductions management
  • Reference data accuracy
  • Drive improvements in end-to-end O2C KPIs.
  • Ensure cost-efficient operations and high service quality.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operational staff.
  • Monitor team performance and conduct regular coaching and development discussions.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline and succession planning for the team.

Process Improvement & Change Management

  • Drive process improvement and operational excellence in O2C activities.
  • Work closely with IBS, IT teams, and market stakeholders to enhance processes.
  • Support the implementation of organizational changes and operational transitions.
  • Ensure alignment with global standards and best practices.

Risk, Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure internal controls and compliance requirements are implemented.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and address findings.
  • Maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and ensure regular testing.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, banks, customers, and third-party collection agencies.
  • Participate in governance meetings and expert networks.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Overall 8+ years of experience and a 3–5 years of leadership experience managing teams.
  • 5+ years of work experience with SAP ERP
  • Strong experience in Finance, Accounting, or Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience in process improvement, project management, or operational transitions.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong expertise in O2C operations and process management.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to lead teams and deliver results in a complex organization.
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
