Description

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, PE-backed global chemical manufacturing organization on a high-impact Sr. Director of Shared Services opportunity based in Alpharetta, GA.

This is a rare chance to step into a transformational leadership role with a company undergoing significant growth, acquisition integration, and enterprise-wide modernization. The right leader will help build and scale a best-in-class shared services function across finance operations, systems, controls, and global process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

This role will oversee areas including:

  • SAP Master Data
  • Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay
  • Credit, AR & Cash Application
  • Payroll Operations
  • Travel & Expense
  • Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting
  • SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Process automation and shared services transformation

This is a hybrid opportunity based in the Northern Metro Atlanta area.

Qualification & Requirements

The ideal background includes:

  • 10–15+ years of progressive finance operations, shared services, or controllership experience
  • Proven leadership of global or multi-entity shared services environments
  • Strong SAP FI/CO and S/4HANA experience
  • SOX/internal controls expertise
  • Experience driving automation, process standardization, and operational excellence
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, Six Sigma, or similar credentials preferred
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on transformation driver

Benefits

Compensation is highly competitive, with a base salary in the $200K–$235K range plus bonus.
