Description

The Vice President of HR Operations & Shared Services serves as the operational deputy to the EVP of Human Resources and leads the infrastructure, processes, and service delivery model that enable scale, compliance and operational excellence across the global HR function. This role oversees HR Operations, including HRIS, employee data governance, benefits administration, HR compliance, and the development of a centralized HR shared services capability. As Salute continues to scale globally, the VP will establish standardized HR frameworks, support regional compliance needs, and build offshore shared services capacity to improve efficiency and support a growing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Governance:

  • Lead the global HR operations function, establishing a scalable operating backbone that ensures consistent execution and compliance across regions.
  • Global HR process design and governance
  • HR policy architecture, documentation standards, and process libraries
  • Employee lifecycle process governance
  • HR service delivery model oversight
  • HR operational risk management
  • Global HR compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory oversight
  • Policy harmonization across regions and governance forums

HR Systems, Data & Analytics

  • Own the HR technology ecosystem and establish global standards for data governance and workforce insights, ensuring system integrity and scalability.
  • HRIS platform governance (UKG, ADP, or future HCM platform)
  • HR data governance and system architecture
  • Data accuracy and system integrity
  • HR analytics, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure
  • Global reporting standards and HR metrics governance
  • HR process automation and workflow development
  • Integration with finance and operational platforms
  • Data privacy compliance (GDPR, etc.)
  • Workforce planning analytics support
  • HR technology roadmap and vendor management

Benefits & Total Rewards Operations

  • Partner closely with the Total Rewards COE to oversee the operational execution of global benefits and compensation programs.’

HR Shared Services & Offshore Strategy

  • Design, build, and scale a global HR shared services model, including development of an offshore capability to drive efficiency and service quality.
  • Service delivery model design (L0–L3)
  • Employee and manager self-service capabilities
  • HR service desk and ticketing systems
  • Knowledge management infrastructure
  • SLAs, KPIs, and service governance
  • Offshore strategy and site selection (e.g., India, Philippines, Eastern Europe)
  • Vendor evaluation and outsourcing model design
  • Operational playbooks and transition of transactional work
  • Quality control and ongoing performance management

Operational Support to the EVP of HR

  • Operational execution of HR transformation initiatives
  • HR operating model implementation
  • HR organizational structure and capability planning
  • Operational budget oversight
  • Executive reporting and HR governance

Qualification & Requirements

  • 12+ years HR experience, including 7+ years leading HR operations or shared services
  • Experience implementing HRIS platforms
  • Experience building HR shared services or HR service centers
  • Global HR governance experience
  • Benefits and HR administration leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (MBA or HR-related)
  • Relevant certifications preferred (SPHR, SHRM-SCP)
  • Preferred qualifications: experience scaling HR infrastructure in high-growth organizations; implementing Ulrich HR operating model; and deploying offshore service delivery models.
