Description
The Senior Manager, GBS Mobility is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of EMEA Mobility operations, providing strategic leadership, Operations governance oversight, and operational direction to ensure consistent, compliant, and high-quality services at scale. This position operates in a specific GBS region and serves all markets across that region.
The role combines people leadership, operational ownership, and strategic partnership with the Global Mobility COE and HR stakeholders to enable the company’s global talent strategy while ensuring an excellent employee experience, cost control, and compliance
Key Responsibilities
Regional Mobility Operations Ownership
- Own and oversee end‑to‑end Global Mobility operations, ensuring consistency with global standards and adherence to applicable policy and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the senior operational escalation point for complex, high-risk, or sensitive mobility cases.
- Ensure delivery is aligned to policy, governance frameworks, and service‑level expectations with an emphasis on employee experience, compliance, and cost control.
People Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, develop, and manage a multi‑level Mobility team (typically 5–20 FTEs).
- Set performance expectations, objectives, and development plans aligned with GBS and Global Mobility priorities; build a high-performing, engaged culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and internal mobility within the Mobility organization.

Stakeholder & Business Partnership
- Serve as the operational governance partner to Global Mobility COE / CBE, Rewards, HR/People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal.
- Represent GBS Mobility in cross-functional and global forums, providing insights on operational performance, risks, and improvement opportunities; translate global mobility strategy into market-level execution and steer alignment across stakeholders.
Compliance, Risk & Audit Readiness
- Steer the internal controls and risk management framework, ensuring continuous risk visibility and proactive mitigation across the mobility lifecycle.
- Oversee audit readiness and compliance activities (in partnership with internal teams and external auditors, e.g., PwC, as required).
Process Improvement & Strategic Enablement
- Lead standardization initiatives, operational playbooks, and adoption of mobility tools/technologies to drive scale and quality.
- Use data, reporting, and operational insights to inform decision-making and support transformation initiatives across Global Mobility.

Qualification & Requirements
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
- Deep expertise in global mobility operations, including relocation, immigration, tax coordination, and vendor management.
- Proven people leadership experience managing large, multi‑level teams.
- Strong strategic, operational, and financial acumen with the ability to balance employee experience, compliance, and cost control.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior‑level engagement.
- Strong change management and continuous improvement mindset.
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Global Mobility.
- Demonstrated experience leading regional mobility operations and managing large teams.
- Strong experience working with global vendors and complex, regulated environments.
