Description

We are seeking strategic and people-oriented Finance Associate Directors to lead end-to-end Finance Operations across Order to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R) within our Shared Service Centre. These roles are responsible for delivering high-quality finance services, driving large-scale process transitions, and ensuring operational excellence across supported business units.

The successful candidates will lead multi-layered teams, foster strong stakeholder partnerships, and champion continuous improvement, standardization, and compliance across core finance processes.

Finance Associate Directors (O2C/R2R)

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams, managing a “manager of managers” structure. Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee end-to-end O2C or R2R processes, ensuring all KPIs and Service Partnership Agreements are consistently achieved or exceeded.
    • O2C scope: Collections, disputes, cash application, credit management, and master data
    • R2R scope: General ledger, reconciliations, period-end close, and financial reporting

Financial Reporting & Close (R2R):

  • Ensure accurate and timely period-end close and Group reporting in compliance with IFRS. Oversee statutory financial statements and tax reporting requirements.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring full compliance with SOX, Local GAAP, and regulatory requirements. Act as a key contact for internal and external audits.

Transition & Transformation:

  • Lead the migration of finance activities into the Shared Service Centre. Drive process standardization and optimization through technology and Lean methodologies.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Champion automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across O2C and R2R operations.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a strategic partner to business units and senior stakeholders, providing insights, reporting, and guidance to support decision-making.

Qualification & Requirements

Education

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of Finance/Accounting experience within a multinational environment or Big 4 firm
  • At least 5 years of people management experience, including managing other managers
  • O2C/R2R: 8 years (Required)

Certifications:

  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly preferred. Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite

Communication:

  • Fluent English (C1 level) with strong presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
