Description

The Regional Manager PtP Content & Control team is part of the global GBDS organization and leads a team of 20 team members including three team leaders, based in the Malaysia office. The Regional Manager, PTP Content & Control, reports directly to the Global Director, PTP.

The GBDS PtP organization is responsible for delivering end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PtP) activities globally and consists of approximately 150 team members worldwide. The function operates under a global governance model, ensuring a standardized way of working across all regions, with a strong focus on digitalization and better business partnering.

The Regional Manager, PTP Content & Control – Asia, is responsible for leading Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Content & Control function across the Asia region. This role oversees teams managing Content & Vendor Master Data (VMD), Process Control & Vendor Query Management, and Travel & Expense (T&E) operations. The Regional Manager plays a key role in performance management, standardization, and digital transformation within the global PTP organization, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with business needs and global standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Regional Manager, PTP Content & Control – Asia, manages the daily running operation and supports the improvement of the vendor masterdata and Coupa technical support team, the process control team and the travel & expense mgmt team.

In this role you are a core member of the global PTP Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the PTP organization with a focus on leading performance, standardization, digital transformation, and business partnering.

  • You will design, lead, and deliver the annual PTP Roadmap (Content & Control scope), ensuring alignment with cost-saving targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, ownership, and digital first mindset across the region.
  • Oversee daily operations across Content & VMD (vendor master data, SAP contract, Coupa catalog/webform maintenance, and resolution of Coupa integration errors), Process Control, Vendor Query Management, and T&E, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with global way of working and service levels.
  • Monitor KPI, OPI; implement corrective, preventive actions where needed to ensure service excellence.
  • Closely collaborate with PTP Excellence and the Procurement Source-to-Contract teams to identify opportunities to streamline, eliminate manual tasks, automate and digitalize PTP processes, delivering measurable efficiency gains and cost savings.
  • Drive process simplification, standardization and continuous improvement
  • Ensure strong compliance with Internal Control Frameworks (ICF) and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Source-to-Contract (S2C), Local Procurement, Local Finance, GBDS RTR, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of relevant experience within Procurement, Finance, or GBS environments.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and people management, ideally within multicultural organization.
  • Manage, mentor, coach and develop a team of :20 employees, including three team leads.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including Vendor Master Data, content management, process control, and T&E.
  • Experience with SAP, Coupa, or other PtP platforms strongly preferred.
  • Background in change management, operational excellence, or digital transformation is a plus.
