We are looking for a visionary Finance Leader to take the helm of our operations across APAC (serviced out from Kuala Lumpur & Shanghai), AMEI and our Global Business Units (serviced out of GCC). This isn’t a role for a spectator—it’s for a strategist ready to lead a 300+ member powerhouse into its next era of evolution.
Key Responsibilities
You won’t just be hitting KPIs; you’ll be redefining what “Best-in-Class” looks like for a global multinational. Your mission includes:
- Architecting Excellence: Evolve the Finance Operations tower into a scalable, high-velocity unit that doesn’t just grow—it excels as we expand.
- Driving the Digital Frontier: Influence our Finance technology roadmap, leveraging cutting-edge automation and AI to shrink cycle times and amplify responsiveness.
- Cultural Transformation: Foster a collaborative, “boundaryless” culture between KL, Shanghai and Pune ensuring seamless service delivery to stakeholders worldwide.
- Data-Driven Evolution: Use analytical insights to hunt for efficiencies, driving down transaction costs while skyrocketing customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Growth: Constantly scan the horizon for new opportunities to broaden our scope and deepen our impact on the global business.
Qualification & Requirements
- ThePedigree: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of high-octane experience in Finance Shared Services/GBS.
- The Track Record: Currently leading a mature Finance GBS for a medium-to-large MNC. You’ve seen it all, from steady-state stability to radical transformation.
- The Tech Edge: You’ve steered organizations through major ERP transitions and have a pulse on the future of Finance tech.
- The Leader: You are a master of managing virtual, global teams across diverse time zones and cultures.
- The Toolkit: Armed with a Six Sigma mindset (certification preferred) and a relentless drive for Lean operations.
