Description

As the Senior Project Manager – Commercial Oncology, your primary focus is to support the Regional Tumor Teams (RTT) across the EUCAN region in fulfilling their mandate. The RTT is responsible for coordinating and leveraging multi-brand/multi-indication activities within tumor areas, driving in-market performance and cross-country learnings, as well as executing regional launches. With your growing experience in strategy development and implementation, you’ll ensure our teams stay aligned and focused on successful outcomes. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the RTT, assisting in the development of annual priorities, and ensuring the successful and timely execution of all deliverables within those goals. By providing operational support, fostering collaboration, and contributing strategic insights, you will play a key role in driving the RTT towards achieving its objectives and advancing the overarching vision of our Oncology Business Unit—to eliminate cancer as a cause of death.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and drive the RTT priorities with stakeholders across the EUCAN region, ensuring alignment with business unit and company objectives
  • Facilitate above-brand indication planning and launch excellence efforts, driving initiatives from initial planning through execution
  • Manage operational support for regional launches, including toolkit development, dashboard management, and addressing ad hoc needs of the RTT
  • Manage interaction with global and local teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across the EUCAN markets
  • Manage meeting logistics and agendas, document outcomes, and resolve issues to ensure productivity within RTTs
  • Collaborate on calendar planning, ensuring visibility and prompt communication of changes to RTT members
  • Provide support for cross-functional key initiatives and congress planning, driving RTT success
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the RTT, actively seeking opportunities to enhance services and drive efficiency
  • Problem Solving and Execution – Apply effective problem-solving techniques, simplify complex information to create actionable insights
  • Customer Engagement – Deliver excellent customer service, effective communication, professionalism and a commitment to exceeding expectations

Qualification & Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medium-complexity project management, change management, or business consulting within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations and project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across geographies and functions
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, influencing without direct authority

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Graduate degree with a minimum of 6+ years of relevant project/change management or consulting experience within medium-complexity programs
  • Experience working within oncology or therapeutic area commercial teams
  • Pharmaceutical or equivalent global organization experience; experience working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Experience working across European and Canadian markets
  • Familiarity with launch excellence frameworks and commercial brand strategy development
  • Certifications: PMI, PMI Agile Practitioner, PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PROSCI Change Management, ACMP CCMP, or similar
