Vice President – Procure to Pay (VP P2P)

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the delivery lead for the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process, ideally with over 25 years of experience; oversee all PTP functions for the client
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Travel & Expenses (T&E), Vendor Reconciliation, and the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order (PR-to-PO) processes; set objectives and metrics while fostering a high-performance team of over 400 FTEs
  • Oversee resource forecasting, capacity planning, and the proactive resolution of bottlenecks and backlogs; ensure timely payments according to the calendar
  • Develop and implement process enhancements, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and accuracy
  • Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with SOX, adherence to Segregation of Duties (SOD), risk management, and readiness for audits; support both internal and external audit processes
  • Promote adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), achieve Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) goals, and lead continuous improvement initiatives; optimize Average Handling Time (AHT) and overall efficiency throughout the PTP value stream
  • Lead and mentor a large, positive, high-retention team culture; conduct regular performance reviews and create development plans
  • Maintain process documentation, desktop procedures, and transaction filing/storage; ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and accounting standards
  • Engage with stakeholders by building cross-functional relationships, connecting regularly with key stakeholders, and resolving intricate operational issues
  • Focus on talent development and leadership by guiding and coaching team members; manage performance evaluations, recognition efforts, and escalation processes; cultivate an open and flexible work environment
