Description

We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Revenue professional to join our high-performing team, based at The Langham, Melbourne. This pivotal position supports Langham Hospitality Group’s hotels in the Pacific region.

Reporting to the Regional Director – Revenue Management Shared Services, you’ll be part of a performance-focused culture through clear metrics, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Your mission: maximize revenue and market share through optimized pricing and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory: Collaborate with property teams to manage group and transient availability daily.
  • Pricing: Manage retail pricing, identify and develop promotions, and set corporate and group pricing.
  • Catering and Function Space Revenue Management: Implement pricing recommendations, analysis, and optimization for properties using the catering and function space module.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Generate transient and group forecasts and conduct the annual budget process.
  • Business and Market Acumen: Conduct weekly R.O.M.E remotely, engage regularly with stakeholders for market responsiveness, and provide month-end critiques to above-property and property stakeholders.
  • Analysis: Perform business evaluations, market research, market share analysis, and deliver analytical reports to property and above-property stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Report on revenue management effectiveness metrics to key stakeholders.
  • Systems: Set up and optimize system performance, maintain regularly, and ensure inter-system efficiency; load rates and promotions.
  • Training: Provide revenue management training to property and internal stakeholders, such as Revenue Analysts, Assistant Managers, and Managers.
  • Goals: Understand and achieve performance, budget, and team goals.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in BA or equivalent.
  • 10+ years in revenue management with global brand experience.
  • Proven success in implementing and managing revenue and booking systems.
  • Experience in strategic leadership and senior stakeholder engagement, including ownership meetings.
  • Expertise in multi-revenue business models and diverse market environments.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail; proactive, self-driven, and organized.
