Description

A reputable automotive auto parts US brand is seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee our Shared Services operations in Alabang. This role replaces a departing Director and reports directly to the Owner and US-based CFO. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between financial oversight and high-level operational management

Country General Manager – Shared Services (Automotive)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Manage 5 key departments, including HR, Accounting, IT Development, Project Management, and Supply Chain.
  • Financial Oversight: Lead financial accounting for US-based operations, ensuring accurate Excel reporting and system-wide integrity.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and implement company-wide plans, identifying coaching and learning opportunities to maximize team potential.
  • Performance Management: Drive productivity and quality standards across teams in the Philippines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary focal person for the Owner and CFO, providing actionable insights and resolving operational bottlenecks.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Proven background in Automotive, Retail, or Shared Services.
  • Functional Expertise: Strong blend of Financial Accounting and People Management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting; knowledge of CRM is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Non-CPAs are welcome to apply.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills for direct reporting to US-based leadership.

Work Set-up

  • Location: Onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa (5 days a week).
  • Shift: US Night Shift (80% of work occurs during US business hours) with high time flexibility.
