Description
The Business Head – GCC will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and leading the Global Capability Center from inception to maturity. This role owns the end-to-end P&L, strategy, governance, talent, and delivery excellence of the GCC, ensuring strong alignment with global business objectives and measurable value creation.
Key Responsibilities
GCC Setup & Strategy
- Lead setup of the GCC including location strategy, operating model, governance, and compliance
- Define the GCC charter, vision, and multi-year roadmap aligned with global enterprise goals
- Establish scalable structures across technology, operations, shared services, or R&D (as applicable)
Business Ownership & P&L
- Own financial performance, budgeting, cost optimization, and productivity metrics
- Drive value beyond cost arbitrage through process transformation, automation, and innovation
- Ensure ROI realization and continuous improvement
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted partner to global CXOs, business leaders, and functional heads
- Build strong governance forums, cadence, and transparent communication models
- Manage expectations across geographies and cultures
Qualification & Requirements
- 15–25+ years of experience in operations, shared services, IT, or GCC leadership
- Proven track record of setting up and scaling a GCC or large offshore delivery center
- Strong P&L ownership and commercial acumen
- Experience working with global stakeholders across geographies
