Description

Amethyst Partners is partnering with a leading global insurance organisation to appoint an SVP, Portfolio Management & Strategic Alignment Lead within its GRS Capability Center Operations.

This is a high-impact, enterprise-level role for a seasoned transformation and PMO leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Reporting directly to the Head of GRS Capability Center Operations, this role will act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, shaping and driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. You will lead the global PMO function, ensure strategic alignment across a complex portfolio, and embed a culture of disciplined execution, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern an enterprise-wide portfolio of strategic and transformation initiatives
  • Drive enterprise planning cycles, including OKRs, investment prioritisation, and resource alignment
  • Build and lead a high-performing global PMO function
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to ensure outcome-driven execution
  • Deliver executive-level dashboards, reporting, and strategic insights
  • Champion change management, agile ways of working, and leadership alignment

Qualification & Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in enterprise PMO, strategy execution, or transformation leadership
  • Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in global environments
  • Strong background within Global Capability Centers (GCCs), Shared Services, or complex enterprises
  • Strong consulting background within the insurance industry
  • Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP, SAFe, Agile, or Change Management certifications preferred
  • MBA or advanced degree highly regarded
